I just got a used 97 outback limited. Thought I would start things out righ by adding a can of BG 44K to a full tank of fuel. Within 50 miles I got a CE light and it has come and gone since, about every 20 to 50 mi. Still on that first tank of gas. The CE light said it had a knock sensor on #1 side and shaft position on #1 side. I'm thinking this is totally due to the 44K. Of course we will monitor after a clean tank of fuel has been run. Any advise?
