1993 Subaru

My husband replaced the front brake pads on a friends 93 subaru impreza yesterday and now she says the brake lights are on continuously. She thinks that there's a reset button somewhere but isn't sure. She also isn't sure if this problem is connected to the brake pads being replaced or the fact that after she took her car home, she parked on a hill and engaged the " roll-back brake" as she calls it, which she says is different from and emergency brake. As it is, she has to remove the fuse whenver she turns off the car to not drain the battery. The car is all-wheel drive, if that makes a difference. Thanks.
