Engine Cooling problem
1998 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 151, 00 miles
I have a 98' Subaru Legacy GT 2.5. In the past year and a half I have replaced the water pump, timing belt, thermostat (twice), radiator and the cap, to finally fix the actual problem the HEAD GASKET. But it has been running hot and will get up to the 3/4 mark and I will have to blast my heat in order to cool it down. The weird thing about it is that in the winter when its freezing it seems to run hot more. Now that it has been warm and hot outside it rarely goes over halfway. The last time is ran hot, I check to see if both fans were running and they were. Does it have something to do with the head gasket again or does it have to do with the heater.
