Need to replace starter but cant find it.

Where is the starter located on this car.

The starter is located on the backside of the engine near the transmission. Here is a guide to help you see what you need to do to get the repair done.

It looks like the image. It is attached to the lower rear of the engine at the transmission bell housing.

Found it & took it out. Got it tested & its good. So gotta put that back in then check the alternator to see if that's bad or not now

At first when I try to start the car it seem it wants to start but isnt kicking over & for some reason the Gauges dont seem to work cant even see how many miles are on the car if I wanted too know. And the gas gauge doesnt move when I turn the key to the proper on position just to check for that. So I think there probably is a bad fuse. Also dont think I hear the fuel pump engaging like you usually hear in cars when you turn the key to cycle gas.
Well I took the battery had it tested & its good.
Then took the starter off & had that tested & its also good
Only thing I can think of is the fuel pump, alternator, or a sensor that I proli dont know about that would cause the car to stop starting correctly

Take a simple test light and check the fuses. Fuses 4, 28 and 19 feed the dash, and the pump control relay. This will give you a quick guide in how to use one. Pretty much any auto part store will have them even wal mart, and harbor freight sell them. DON'T buy the LED style though, they are not as versatile to use in other testing.
