OK since I got this car I have put in a new transmission, plugs, cables, oil and air filter, oil semi synthetic(10w-30), had the trans wash but not the engine and the car was sitting for a while before I got it. I'm driving it and it drives good but suddenly open the hood while it was hot and light smoke came out, was told could be old oil burning cause it had a bad oil plug which leaked for long time and the tranny also had a leak before I got it fix. What should I do? Thank you.

If it is oil that is leaking onto the exhaust causing the smoke, you need to have it rectified. You need to find the leak.
