Our original key was stolen and we bought a used replacement key-less entry fob all the numbers and codes matched our car exactly. So when we received the key in the mail we programmed it for the doors and tried to crank the car and now the security failure warning is on along with a red light. The car will not crank but everything else works.

Hello,

The key you have is not coded correctly causing the security system to think the car is being stolen. The part numbers will be the same by it will need to be initialized tot he car which should cost about $130.00 at a shop. You can try resetting the system in a hard reboot by following this guide:

Please let us know what happens.

Our only key was stolen. So we bought. Precut used fob off Amazon. All the codes/numbers matched everything was right. When we received it the mail and programmed the fob part of the key to our key-less entry and gained entry to crank, only it wouldn't crank. Now all the bells and lights work even the alarm. This is our only vehicle. We don't have money for a dealer or locksmith. Please help us get. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like the key is not coded correctly. I would try to get another one or take it to the dealer to have it coded it should cost about $130.00.
