Hi

I have a problem in my Camry 2006 with automatic transmission. Whenever I'm on the highway and apply brakes, it makes noise as if the wheels are locked and are slipping on the road. While I'm sure that I do not press the brakes so hard that they should lock the wheels. The braking system is not ABS. The sound is different from the one that is produced by brake pads when they are about to expire.

The same noise is produced in turns as well. Tires are in good condition. They seem to have been replaced a couple of months ago.

Thanks!

Have the brakes checkedfirst as well as wheel bearings. It may be a rust issue between caliper and rotor.
