2002 Saturn L300 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 145000 miles
My saturn will not even crank over. Lights turn on, battery reads 12 volts, Hook up an Actron OBD II, CP9135 autoscanner an came up with code U2105
Manufacturer specific Code. Looked on Actron Website under two vehicle Systems. 1st was Body control Modual with DTC definition - Lost communication with Engine Control System. 2nd was vehical system "Transmission" with DTC definition Lost communication with Engine control system. Not sure where to start. Should it be at the Trans Shift lever switch, or shorted out wiring in wiring harness.
Car has had new intake put on, new timming belt(twice), new Right coil pack, new plugs, new water pump(twice), trans serviced, new brake pads and front roters, New pcm(computer), oil changes. All this has been done by a service station except trans service and oil changes.
Please help give me a place to start looking to solve this problem on my own, since I cannot afford the service dept any more, or able to purchase new or used car. Tank you so much, whatever the answer.
Well, Checked the battery again. It was reading 12 volts, did not hold enough amps though.
All this problem was a bad battery! Must be working to many long hours. Hope this helps someone
have the same problem?
