I have a '99 Saab 9-3 with 101,000. I am somewhat mechanically inclined and have rebuilt an oil cooled engine with some assistance. Unfortunately, today's modern vehicles bewilder me with all their extraneous equipment. I have replaced an oil pressure switch on my wife's cherokee and found it to be a extremely simple job with the correct tool. Now my Saab has been reported by my new mechanic to be leaking at the oil pressure switch and he is requesting $100 to repair it. Now $100 for replacing an $18 part seems a bit steep. Unfortunately, I can't find the sender on my vehicle. Could you please help me locate it and let me know if this job is more difficult than I am anticipating.
have the same problem?
