I just had my cylinder head gasket and timing belt replaced and all was ok with my car for about 3 weeks. Now the car consistantly misfires, crawls up hills and wont go over 20 mph without a struggle. I had the cylinder head compression tested and they told me that was fine, they then tell me its the DIZZY ??? or the CAT thats gone, I cant really see the cat causing this kind of misfire. Please help

Do an exhaust backpressure test to rule the catalytic converter if okay could be one of the following

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
