Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Rover 6 Series 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I tried to remove the distributor cap but all 3 screws/ bolts seered off, I then removed the distributor and dealt with the issue of the screw/ bolts, but had been wrongly informed to bolt the distributor cap back onto the distributor before replacing the distributor and therefore the prongs on the internal part of the distributor we're not put into the correct place as it could not be seen or adjusted, and therefore one of these prongs has been broken off when trying to start the engine.
My questions are, How much will it cost to remove the engine head to remove the broken prong from the engine and also How much will it cost to fit another distributor?

I only need to know labour costs as I have already bought a distributor.

Do you
have the same problem?
