Unable to replace button. I tried to use a flat head screwdriver to pry the part pry, but was not successful.I don't know if I should take the steering wheel off or not.I did not want to damage the air bag.

The horn buttons are most likely secured from the back of the air bag and that can be very dangerous to work on. We don't advise you doing this yourself as the air bag is explosive and can kill you if not handled correctly.

Thank you for the help. I just saw a video and it stated that if I remove the battery cable for three minutes, I could remove the steering wheel without deploying the airbag. Is this true. Thank you for your help.

Usually yes, but they can store voltage in capacitors too.

Take it to a professional. It's too dangerous for you to mess with.
