my van is leaking coolant into the oil. could this be more than just a gasket gone bad? also how do you drop the engine to reach the back. one more ? my brakes on it always grind and make a noise. even when new.

If you have coolant in the oil, most likely it is a head gasket or intake gasket. The only other thing I can think of would be a cracked head, block... As far as the brakes, make sure the backing plate behind the rotors isn't bent or rusted and hitting the rotor.
