Brakes problem
1997 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

How do you dissable the antilock braking system. It seems to keep pulsating every time I apply the brakes.

They are supposed to pulse, but if they do it all the time, then most likely you have a warped rotor on one in the front.

You can remove rotors and lay on flat surface and check for any warpage, generally if they are warped they need to be replaced.

No mechanic would disable the ABS system, if you were to get into an accident after disabling system, they could be held responsible.
