I own a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville SSE. It has 125k miles on it. Over the course of the spring this year I have experienced a loss in fuel mileage by almost half and there is no power at the low end. (Under 2500 RPM) The engine also preignitions when accelerating from a dead stop intermittantly. I replaced plugs, wires, and fuel filter and checked the converters and they don't seem to be plugged. I also have been getting and intermittant CEL. The code is P0321 spark reference circuit. It comes on every now and again with no pattern at all. A mechanical friend of mine suggested a ignition control module from looking at Alldata. It didn't seem to do anything and the CEL has come on once since then. Any advice you can give me or a direction to head in would be much appreciated.
