Engine Mechanical problem
1992 Pontiac Bonneville 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 105000 miles
When I start my car it will idle fine for about 20 seconds then the engine starts to smoke white underneath the front of the block.
The exhaust also seems to smoke white.
I pulled the oil stick out and the oil is a normal color.
I took the radiator cap off, topped off with coolant, turned the car on and no bubbles are shown, the coolant rises but I think it's because I don't let the car run long enough for the thermostat to open up because of the smoke, it scares me to run it longer.
I noticed this problem right after the air conditioner wouldn't turn off even after the car was off, I popped the hood and took out the A/C fuse and now my battery doesn't drain but I have this new problem.
Does it sound likely that it's a blown head? Anything else I can do to check, and do any sealers work?
have the same problem?
