Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Plymouth Reliant 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100 + miles

I just got the car a few daays ago. I had it idle before and it idled fine. I've driven it about 20 miles here and there. Today when you start the car it does start runs for 20 - 30 seconds then stalls. It doesn't idle down and stall, it just stalls like shutting the key off. When you restart it, it starts easy, and will stall again. If you tap the throttle it keeps it from doing so but, will stall again if left alone. The idle R.P.M. Is around? 600 rpm and seems good. Also if you drive the car its fine. It's only when you come to a complete stop or sit in park.

Check and test the automatic idle speed solenoid, EGR valve, TPS and MAP sensors.
