The car I am working on is a 1997 Plymouth Breeze 2.0 L Automatic with about 50,000 miles.
I bought a 1999 2.0 L automatic Breeze (Wrecked, Good motor 50,000 Miles) and a 1997 breeze 2.0 L (Great body). I now have the 1999 2.0 L Breeze motor installed into the 1997 car. The car started up right away and I had it setting there idling. The motor was running rough like it was running on two cylinders. I looked under the car and
seen that the exhaust was glowing red hot. I knew at that point it was burning rich. I checked the spark at the coil and I have no spark on plugs 1, 3 and good spark on plugs 2, 4. I checked for spark at the coil itself so I know its not the plug wires. It's not the coil because I replaced that and still gives same results. Any ideals?
Thanks in advance
have the same problem?
