Pilot died while driving

Driving down the road approx 45 mph and pilot died like someone flipped a switch. Won't start again. Replaced the ELD but no luck. I noticed the connector that plugs in to the top of the SLD looks like it got hot. Almost meted but not really. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would really appreciate it.

ELD? Why?

Start with basics, compression, fuel pressure and spark test.
