My cutlass wont start, I know nothing about cars and do not now if my description will help.
The car runs great when its going, all power works and there seems to be a good charge in the battery, however when I turn the key I hear one click, its coming from the ignition, its like its trying to make a connection but fails and stops trying immedietly. I tried banging on th starter just behind the front bumper and when it is banged on nd someone turns the key it goes. That worked for 5-10 starts and I am unsure what it is. Do I need a starter or is it something else?
