I raised motor put blocks under motor mounts, its high enough to get pan out but cant get it past transmission housing. I removed the oil pump pick up line still cant clear trans. Housing. I raised the transmission up also, removed trans. Mount but not enough. Is there another option other than removing transmission

Welcome to our world. This is one of Ford's poorer designs. It's real common for the pans to rust through, and to add insult to injury, when doing this on their rear-wheel-drive cars, you can damage wiper motors, and in some cases, distributors, by raising the engine.

Instead of just removing the oil pickup tube, unbolt the entire pump. Just let the parts drop into the pan. I've watched students struggle with this project many times, and that always seems to work.
