NISS 720 PICKUP-CORRECT GREASE PILOT BUSHING & T BA
1986 Nissan Truck
July, 30, 2007 AT 12:19 AM
My truck is a 1986 720 pickup, Z-24 engine, 127,000 miles, 2-wheel drive.
I'm in the middle of a clutch replacement for my pickup. My questions are these---
What is the proper type of grease to use on the inside of the replacment pilot bushing and the transmission splines? Do I grease the outside of the pilot bushing before inserting it?
What is the correct type of grease for the splines of the torsion bars (these had to be removed to remove the transmission)
Thanks for your answer.
