1995 Nissan Sentra Not Starting

95 Sentra Won't Start- batt. Terminals are clean, jumping the car off didn't work - no clicking during the start. Potential problem?

Hi Moore,

Should be starter and cranking circuit.

Pull starter solenoid wire out and get some one to crank the engine whaile you test the wire for power supply. If there is, apply direct battery current to starter solenoid to see if it works.

If no, tap the starter motor with a hammer and test again, if it works or tries to or won't work, the starter is bad. Hope the battery cable is ok. Check cable is broken.
