Hi, I have a 93 nissan altima, with many problems. Great car so far but the gauge cluster lights don't work, the tachometer reads very low and inaccurate, the rear running lights don't work at all, however, all other lights work, dome lights, engine lights, front running lights head lights h. Beams, reverse, brake, signals all work.
also, I have a problem with my brakes squealing even though both the rotors and pads are new.
I also get a hesitation in acceleration from time to time, it's been explained to me that nissan timing chains strech out and slap against the cover, which makes it's own noise, but wondering if a stretched timing chain would cause this hesitation?
one last thing, I have replaced both cv shafts, which fixed the clunking on turns, however once I get up to 120 km/h I get severe vibrations. It's strange because the vibrations don't take away any control of the vehicle, they're just extremely irritating.
appreciate anything you can tell me!
