I have a 2000 Maxima with 105,000 kms. Lately when it gets cold or rainy out the car seems to misfire and feel really choppy when idling. We took it in for diagnosis and were told there's something wrong with one of the cylinder coils but they don't know which one. The service engine light has been on for about 3 months now. We just took it on a road trip (3000 kms) and it worked fine, in fact the engine light went out for a while, it came back on when it rained again.
Will this problem deteriorate anything else if it's not diagnosed soon?
