I own a Nissan Maxima 95' model V6 3.0 lit
It has 113000 miles on it now. Recently the engine light came on. When I diagonised in a auto delear shop they told me that the rear o2 sensor is bad. I told them that I will replace it later. They also resetted the code sothe light was off. After a week the light came back again. So I replaced O2 sensor after 3 weeks with help of a mechanic. The engine light was still on. So I took it to the dealer and asked him to reset the code with scanner. While doing this they got one more code P0600. But they resetted the code sothat the light is off. However P0600 tell that the serial communication link malfunction. What does this mean? Is it related to the O2 sensor, if so I think the light should not come back again. I am thinking of taking to a mechanic only if the light comes back. Pls advice what could be the reason and how much it might cost to fix this.
