95 Nissan Maxima, V6 3000, 194,646 mileage

When I am driving the overdrive light in my car flashes on and off and the car begins to jerk, lights (inside the car) will blink on and off and the cd player will stop. What is causing this? Thanks.

I'd susppect one of the power relays mounted beside the inside fusebox, a cheap and common item to replace
