1988 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 250000 miles
3 break jobs in 2 months.
Two weeks ago all the brake system was drained and all rotors, calipers, pads and brake hoses were replaced. There is already visble wear. The pads are signaling time for change. All four wheels.
The master cylinder was replaced in May.
What would cause this type of problem?
It has be suggested that the proportion valve was the culprit because the seizing/clamping down was not consistant: driver front and passenger rear. Now its all for wheels at once. This model according to Nissan dealer does not have a proportion valve. It does have a break connector (part # 46311301E01) where all four lines come together.
If there is a blockage/contamination could it be there?
After spending near $1500 the last the months I need a cause and solution ASAP.
