MY CAR WOULD START AND DIE AFTER A FEW SECONDS. TOOK IT TO A REPAIR SHOP WHO REPLACED THE DISTRIBUTER THEN THE CAR RAN FINE. LATER THERE WAS A LEAK IN THE VALVE COVE AND SPARK PLUG 3 WOULD FLOOD WITH OIL. I REPLACE THE GASKET BUT NOW I HAVE NO SPARK COMING. I REPLACED A BAD ALTERNATOR AND MY COIL SINCE IT HAD A LIFETIME WARRENTY. THE CAR STILL HAS NO SPARK BUT 11.8 VOLTS IS PRESENT AT THE COIL AND DISTRIBUTER PLUG WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED. DIAGNOSTICS SHOW THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR BUT WITH A NEW DISTRIBUTER COULD THAT STILL BE THE PROBLEM.
