I was driving on the interstate the other day and my ca just quit out of the blue. After I sat on the side of the road for about 5 minutes it started right back up as if nothing ever happened. I drove for about another two miles and the same exact thing happened. After I got it going again it did it for a third time. I didn't have this problem with it again until a few days after the first incident. I was driving in town this time and the same exact sequence was happening. From everything that I have read online and the little that I know about cars I feel like I have narrowed it down to 2 things. I think it could be either the crankshaft sensor or a bad fuel filter. My gut is telling me that it is the crankshaft sensor though. Please could someone else give me their thoughts?
