Where is the crank sensor located at on the 95 eclipse rs non turbo? Any help would be appreacited

Hello,

The crankshaft sensor is near the oil filter here is a guide to hep walk you through the steps of changing it with a diagram sbloe to show you the location on your car.

Its on the left side of engine, by crankshaft end.

I got a 95 eclipse gs it will start for about 10 sec and die like u shut the key off but turn it off and try starting it again it will start and after a few times of doing that it will get to were it wont star and it wont get fire but if u let it set a little bit it will start right back up and do the same Ive replaced the ECU, camshaft sensor and the crankshaft sensor checked fuses and relays and the fuel pump so I cant find what is wrong with
it.

Did you try to retrieve for troublde codes?
Was any repairs carried out prior to this occurring?
When it could not be started, did you test if sparks or fuel were missing?

The crank shaft sensor is above the oil filter on the passenger side. It is held on by one bolt on the outside of the block. Just replaced mine.
