I have a chevy malibu 1997, it has a blinking check engine light and the code reader says it is a misfire in cylinder 1. I have replaced the injector, ignition coil, spark plugs all to no avail. Last month we replace the crank shaft position sensor, mass airflow sensor and throttle body sensor. The car starts putting when accelerating and when you get to above 25 miles per hour it drives normal with the exception of the fact that the overdrive will not kick in, I also forgot to mention in my last post for this question, that the car ran out of gas because the fuel gauge is all weird and never shows accurate readings. This problem never happened before the gas ran out. I put gas in and the battery was dead, charged the battery and this is what ended up happening immediately after. I changed each injector using a new one and swapping it down the line. There was no effect.
have the same problem?
