I have a check engine light flashing. I had it checked and it came up misfiring in cylinders 2, 5, and 6. I changed out the plugs and the plug wires.(Changed the wires one at a time). The light is still flashing and had it checked and still comes up the same. Is there some way to check why it is doing it without bringing the car into a shop. Strapped for cash at the moment. Thanks for any help By the way the car has 155,000 miles on it

By the way, the diagnostic also said that the ignition coil was faulty. Will that make cylanders 2, 5, and 6 missfire? Sorry, don't know much about cars. Thanks for any help

I can usually go to a local parts store and have them hook up the computer to check the engine light code. They can even reset it to see if it goes away. Autozone does this at no charge.
