Engine Performance problem
2006 Mercury Mariner 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 78000 miles
Whenever it is extremely cold, probably around below 10 or 5 degrees, my car won't start. I will crank and crank it, but the engine will not turnover. Sometimes I will crank it for a few minutes, and it'll eventually turnover. Other times I will crank it for so long that eventually the battery dies, and I have to wait for the weather to warm up to jump and start it. I have taken it to two different places and both times it was supposedly fixed. The first time I was told it was flooding, and the second time they said it had something to do with the internal temperature sensor not working correctly. It is obviously neither of these reasons.
