Engine Cooling problem
1997 Other Mazda Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 169000 miles

I have replaced radiator, water pump, thermostat & alternator (not related) drained and flushed, drained and flushed, checked hoses etc for blockages, but the bottom hose stays cold. The thermostat is on the bottom hose, it is warm until it gets to the thermostat then cold after. The air conditioning hoses get hot, the rear A/C stays warm but the front A/C and heater doesn't heat up.
I presume an air lock, but am failing to be able to get rid of it. Any suggestions please?
