Shakes or Wobbles problem
2005 Mazda 3 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 87000 miles
I have a 2005 Mazda 3 Sedan with an automatic transmission. The car has from 0 miles (new) to the present miles 87000 this problem. I have a vibration between 52 - 57 m/hr which I feel more in the seat (body) than the steering wheel. Tire Rotations don't seem to fix it, I have had 4 new sets of tires (20 tires) 2 sets of rims summer and winter. Have had new shocks 3 alignments and the back right tire keeps cupping I believe this is the term for this type of wear. So I called Mazda head office asked about fixing this, they said first time made aware of anything like it, than gave standard reply try tire rotation, balance, alignment, shocks. Mixed with don't call us we will call you. Technician at 2 local Mazda dealers took car for test drive and said all they feel it is road vibration after they tried the above and could not find any other alternatives to try.I think this is a great, fun car to drive, just want to get read of this vibration can you help? P.S. Friend has same problem with 2007 Mazda 3 and dealer put on new set of tires to fix it, I'm waiting to see the outcome. Extremely annoyed with this. Hope you can help Thanks Doug
