2005 Mazda 3 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 88700 miles
I had new tires put on my car. The mechanic told me I needed new back brakes. I agreed to let him replace them. When I got my car back it had a popping sound in the rear passenger side wheel area when slowing down (coasting, not applying brakes). I took the car back and they told me the brake pad was moving. When I got it back that time it still made the noise. I took it back. They said they had to replace the brake pads with pads from Nashville. When I got my car back it still made that noise. Then they tried to say it was in the engine, I argued that fact with them because the noise is coming from the back. Then they tried to say it was " the car jack was loose". Then they tried to say it was the suspension. It did NOT make any popping noises before they worked on it the FIRST time. What could the popping noise be? I can only hear it when coasting (slowing down) between 30-20 mph.
