Hi,
I have a mazda 323 SP20 2001 with 117000km. Coil packs keeps on burning after replacement. I have replaced the coil pack 4 times and everytime they burn out. The coil pack sits on top of the engine and goes directly into spark plugs. There are 2 coil packs. Only one burns each time. When I replace the burnt one, the other one burns out. I have been told that it maybe a computer issue. I am thinking of taking my car to an auto electrician to get the computer checked out. Is this the best way to get it fixed?

Can you please help?

thanking you in advance.

Hi meyoda2005,

This happens when the injector becomes weak and leans that cylinder out which overloads the ignition coil. Please check out this guide for more information.

Please go over this guide and get back to us.
