I have a 1992 Lincoln Continental V8 with @ 65,000 original miles. It drives great all year except the summer months when the outside temperature gets above 90-95 and I am using my air conditioner most of the time. If I've been driving constantly over a period of time, the engine will die. Also, if I've been running errands, driving and stopping, shutting motor off, restarting and driving, the car will start but shortly dies for lack of power. After sitting for a while, the car will start and run fine again. All gauges are good-temperature, oil, battery, etc.-. Last year we had the power module replaced. It was a rebuilt one since they do not make those for that year anymore.

Any codes?
Sounds like if the idle is dropping out the mass air flow is dirty or weak!
