2007 Lexus IS 250 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 19000 miles
Have a 2007 Lexus IS250 6-cyl. One of the tabs of the headlight was damaged causing a tiny hole to form on top of the rear side of it. That hole allows water and humidity to go in. I just want to know a few things as follows:
1. How can I take out the headlight assembly? Do I have to take out the bumper?
2. After taking out the headlight; how can I dissasemble the headlight in order to wipe out the moisture and to clean the yellow deposit (water caused) on the corner.
3. Can I seal the tab to the hole with a plastic sealer? And can this solve the problem?
4. Is this covered in the Warranty?
This problem is causing the bulb (the one in the projector) not to turn on sometimes; sometimes it is turn on when almost no moisture on it.
