Air Conditioning problem
2004 Lexus ES 330 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 33000 miles

I replaced the cabin air filter but during the disassembly of the glove box door and tension device, the tension device fell back into the space to the rear and right of the glove box. I removed the door and lower molding cover (3" x 18") but could not figure out haow to reinstall the teension device. Is the piston end attached to the door? Is the cylinder up or down? Etc. Any help will be appreciated. I will try to enclose a picture of the device. Which hole does the Philips head screw go into (A, B or C). Is the device installed with the rib up as tyhe drawing shows or with the rib down?

Do you
have the same problem?
