Brakes on Kia Sedona

2003 Kia Sedona, 55k, 6 cyl.

at 42k I replaced front and rear brakes. Since then, in 10 months I have been back 5 times. Once to replace the rear brakes that had a broken pin. Once to replace the front brakes with an upgraded part and 3 times to have the brakes resurfaced(?). I am having grinding and popping and squeaking and the brakes are not wearing evenly as I can feel the warp as I apply the brakes. Kia says they don't cover the brakes unless it is tied to the hydraulics but the tech says the symptoms don't sound like hydraulic symptoms. My mechanic says he'll replace the brakes and rotors and I only have to pay for the mfr parts this time. I guess I am just trying to see if the solution fits the problem and whether I should replace all the rotors and brakes with mfr parts at the same time rather than piecemeal in light of all the problems I am having with the brakes.
