Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when changing the sensor out plus the location of the sensor for both the four and six cylinder engines below.

The crankshaft angle sensor is located on the bell housing on the drivers side here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

It pays 2.8 hours to replace which means to me that the front cover has to come off to gain access to the sensor. I suggest a shop as this is very labor intensive.

Ya timing cover, water pump and crank shaft pulley, and im pretty sure the power steering pump because they put the wiring between there and the block
