I drained the fuel tank out of fear someone had put something in the tank because we saw someone in the middle of the night out by it. This is a new car for us so I immediately drained the tank just in case. Jeep ran perfect before this. I jumped relay with a wire to drain the tank. Luckily nothing was in the fuel. I reconnected the relay put a quarter of a tank of new fuel in just in case & now it will not start & service engine light is on. I have tried another relay per a mech at the dodge dealership to check to see if the fuel would pump it does not. If I reconnect just the jumper wire it pumps fuel. But with relay in it does not. Please help.

Hello !

Have you check the fuses?

How do you "jump" the relay to start the pump?

Did you "touch" the coil connectors on the relay base?

Could be a bad efi fuse. Or a powertrain control Module fuse.

Check those and let us know on your findings!

Good luck!
