How do I get to the neutral switch to replace it and if it is bad would it keep the back up lights from working?

Since its equipped with an automatic transmission, yes a faulty Park / Neutral Position Switch will also cause the back-up lights to fail. Your vehicle's PNP switch is located on the left side of the transmission.
