1990 Jeep Wrangler fuel inj converted to a carbeurated

Engine Performance problem
1990 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

recently I purchased a jeep that was converted to a carburetted engine when I purchased it I was getting 10 mpg in checking it out I found it had a lot of carbon build up in the exhaust and real high valve cover pressure where it would blow the pcv valve loose, the pcv checks ok the Cadillac converter was plugged they used a 2 barrel weber carb, the jeep runs good just a gas hog where can I get info on how to correct and increase the mpg or do I just unload it on the next sucker (not my preferance) does the intake manifold vary in size from one application to the next and where can I find the spec's on pressures and flow

Do you
have the same problem?
