I have had this jeep for 3 years and recently I had to replace a dead battery. The problem is that a factory theft alarm now thinks I am stealing my car and will not let me start it.I am using 2 regular (non electronic) keys that I got when I bought it. How do I disable or bypass this damn thing?I had to cut the wires to the alarm horn to shut it up but twisted them back together.

You can't disable or bypass the alarm. It is a part of Chrysler Collision Detection and controlled by the Body Control Module. If you have black key, you don't have chip-coded key, gray key is coded, however.

Remove these fuses (16 and 26 on the PDC, and 21 on the junction block). Wait a minimum of 2 minutes, and then put them back. Open all doors, including hood and trunk. Close hood, trunk and all doors. Make sure that the driver door is the last one to close. From the outside and using the key, lock the driver door. Wait a minimum of 1 minute. From the outside and using the key, open the driver door.

That should reset the system.

If it doesnt work the first time, try again as it can be finicky if not done exactly right

That is done with the remote key fob or by unlocking a front door with the key. If the key in the door doesn't work, check for broken wires between the door hinges.

My teacher has a 91 jeep Che. Limited and it wont start at all, its got spark fuel so on everything it needs it wants to start but ir just keeps turning over, we believe its the security but we cant fix it, we unplugged the wire to the security box under the dash but when we plug it back in the alarm goes off, we are thinking that the security is stopping the car from starting. Does anyone know if it is the security or what it could be, it would REALLY help.

If it has spark and gas, it's not the securty system. Check compression and timing. If it's distributorless, unplig the cam sensor, if it starts, it's a timing problem, check the chain.

I am having problems with the alarm system going
off when I do not want it to. I would like to just
disable it entirely. Is there some wires that can be cut to disable the system so I do not have to deal with it anymore? Thanks in advance.

You will have to take to dealer to have it disabled they have to reprogram pcm to allow jeep to start and run but you may also have an after mearket alarm installed also if you do you can access the alarm under dash and remove the alarm module
