I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport with a 4.0l I-6. It has about 143,000 otherwise trouble free miles. When the tempurature drops below 0 degrees it floods itself when you try to start it. I installed new cap, rotor & plugs. The plug wire have less than 40,000 miles on them. The condition is evident showing wet plugs and inability to start. If I get it indoors, clean up the plugs and let it sit in warm air it starts without hesitation. I use Optima batteries so voltage and cranking are not an issue. The airbox and airway are clear and there is spark. Any ideas? This has not been a problem in previous winters. Thanks for any ideas.
have the same problem?
