My brake pedal is hard and it's difficult to stop, no matter how hard I push. I've bled my brakes, I've changed my front brake pads (which needed it), I've checked my my rear drums which were still good so I just cleaned them. I don't know if I need to replace something or what. I hope you guys have the answer because I'm lost in the dark here.

Hi there,

If the brake pedal is high and hard with the engine running I would be getting the booster inspected, a basic test is with engine off, pump brakes till all vacuum is expelled, start engine with foot on pedal, when engine starts, pedal should suck down a little, if not the booster or vacuum supply is at fault, start here.
