My jag runs for about 10 minutes (while driving or Idling) and dies; if I leave the hood open it runs for about 17 minutes (engine is not hot either try) and the check engine light is not illuminated. I have already replaced the fuel pump and sending unit and I get the same results. I have checked the fuel pump relay in the trunk and have even hard wired the relay plug wires so the fuel pump would keep running even after the car stalls.I get the same results. I then disconnected the fuel rail feed pipe union to check for fuel delivery and got a short flow of gasoline. After the engine dies I have to wait about an hour before it will restart. I don't have access to a mechanic who works on Jaguars (USVI) and I have to mail order all my parts.I do have the parts and service manuals. Do you have any suggestions for my next step? Kind regards.
have the same problem?
